Application Eligibility
Nationality Requirements: Applicants must meet one of the following Requirements
- A foreign national whose parents are both foreign nationals
- Completion of his or her entire education (equivalent to elementary, middle, high school and undergraduate) in a foreign country
Degree Qualification
- Master’s Degree Program or Integrated Master’s and Doctoral Program
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university(or expected to receive a bachelor’s degree before the admissions period of the term the applicant is applying for).
- Ph.D. Degree program
- A master’s degree from an accredited college or university(or expected to receive a master’s degree before the admissions period of the term the applicant is applying for).
Qualification for Language Proficiency
- Test of Proficiency in Korean(TOPIK): Level 3 or higher
- (English Track Only)
- English language proficiency:TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 5.5, TEPS 600(new TEPS 326) or higher
- Students whose native language is English
- (Bilingual program Only) Students whose native language is Chinese.
※ If you want to apply for Bilingual program, you should contact the ‘Center for International Cooperation’ first. After consulting with them, you should follow their guidelines.
- Students whose native language is English or Chinese.(Students whose native language is Chinese are limited to the bilingual program)
Please note that International students must obtain one of the above Language Proficiency to meet the graduation requirement.

Admission Process
- Paper screening is based on the submitted documents.
- Records of undergraduate school or graduate school are applied a percentile rank.
- For master’s applicants, records of undergraduate school are reflected.
- For doctoral applicants, records of undergraduate school and master’s degree course are reflected.
- Interviews and oral exams are comprehensively evaluated regarding the applicant’s knowledge and aptitude of their major, enthusiasm for study, and the research plan based on the submitted study plan, etc.
- For applicants residing outside of Korea, an interview over the videophone can be arranged. Please check in the application form to request for a videophone interview.
- Practical exams will be conducted for applicants of Master of Music and Performing Arts Area.
- If your score in practical exam is lower than 120, you will be failed
- If you are absent in any interview or practical exams, you will be failed
- Detailed evaluation scores will not be disclosed.

- Applicants who graduated from universities outside of Korea must submit one of the following.
- Documents for degree verification.
- Apostille authentication on Degree Certificate.
- Degree certificates verified by the Korean embassy in applicant’s home country or home country’s embassies/consulates in Korea.
